Nextdoor Dover Shores

Nextdoor Dover Shores is a social media network that is specialized to our neighborhood. To participate you need to register and verify your address. This site is one of several managed by Nextdoor.com and they have similar sites for Costa Mesa and other neighborhoods in Newport Beach. Any verified user can post and you can reply directly to posts. It is a good site for chit-chat about the neighborhood, selling things, advice for contractors etc. Note that Nextdoor Dover Shores includes people who live nearby but are technically not residents of the Dover Shores Community Association.

By comparison the email list on this web site is intended more as a newsletter from the Dover Shores Homeowner's Association and your Dover Shores CERT team. It does not support residents sending messages to the community. Nextdoor is a better choice for that kind of interaction.
